Official Rules

1. The entry fees and voting fees will benefit RESCUE.
2. Eligibility subject to rules below.
3. Enter via Internet, visit the contest pages at www.azrescue.org/petidol and complete all required information on the form entry and follow posted instructions. By entering, you agree to the terms of these official rules. All entries and payments must be received by midnight October 13, 2009 (and include the photo). Up to five photos per entry is permitted. A family may enter more than one pet. Each entry must include a separate photo, with separate entry form and fee. The NPI will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. All entries and pictures become property of Sponsor and none will be returned.
4. Online entries will be submitted through www.azrescue.org/petidol. Photos will be accepted in color or black/white. Digital photos must be submitted in JPG, PNG or GIF format and photos cannot be returned.
5. Entry fee must accompany completed entry form. Five dollars ($5) entry fee is payable by credit card. Entries can donate more than five dollars.
6. The viewers will cast votes for their favorite pet photo. Voting ballots will be available at www.azrescue.org/petidol.
7. Entries to the National Pet Idol Contest will be accepted September 23 through October 13, 2009. All electronic entries must be received by midnight, October 13, 2009. The contest will consist of three (3) rounds.
8. The first round (October 6 - midnight October 13) will be selected by the readers of the NPI. The Contestants with the highest votes from this group will continue on to the next round and be published at the NPI site - www.azrescue.org/petidol. The second round (October 14 - midnight October 21) will be selected by the readers of the NPI. The Contestants with the highest votes from this group will continue on to the next round and be published at the NPI site - www.azrescue.org/petidol. The third and final round (October 22 - midnight October 27) will be selected by the readers of the NPI. The Contestants with the highest votes from this group will continue on to the next round and be published at the NPI site - www.azrescue.org/petidol.
9. Vote counts are reset between rounds.
10. Votes will be $1 per vote; flat donations will be accepted in any amount. All proceeds from entries and votes will go to RESCUE.
11. Winners will be announced October 28, 2009.
